You will join a cohort of grade 1 therapists and will be supported by the new graduate and grade one multidisciplinary education program. Occupational Therapy As an Occupational Therapist at IPC Health, you will work with people across the life span, with adults making up most of your caseload. Your day will involve completing assessments at the client’s home and working with them towards their functional goals. You will provide interventions including assistive technology and home modification prescription, and deliver education to our clients, their families, and their carers, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.  You may also work with clients in the Lifestyle Integrated Functional Exercise (LiFE) Program and there is opportunities to be involved in group based multi-disciplinary interventions such as falls prevention, social connectedness and carer support.  You will make a difference byWorking collaboratively with the Allied Health team to plan service delivery for the communities we serve within the Brimbank (St Albans, Sunshine and Deer Park), Hobsons Bay (Altona Meadows) and Wyndham (Hoppers Crossing, Wyndham vale) LGAs.Implementing interventions that will address the needs and priorities of the clients.Delivering services in a variety of formats including clinical, home visiting, telehealth, individual and group.   Reflecting, evaluating, and modifying services to enhance outcomes.     To succeed, you will need:Graduate or post-graduate degree in Occupational Therapy.Emerging ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team to provide evidence-based services for adults and children.
