If you’re up for a challenge, then IPC Health is the dental service for you! Come and join our growing team in one of Victoria’s largest public dental services. We provide comprehensive care to our community, in our dental clinics and through community partnership and outreach.
Casual positions are available - Dental Assistant Level 2.5
You will make a difference by
- As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for high quality care through:
- Oral health prevention and promotion through timely oral health education.
- Clinical chair side assistance to all patients who are eligible to access the dental services at all dental clinics in a timely and efficient manner.
- Operational support of the dental clinic(s) to facilitate efficient patient throughput.
- Commitment to providing the best possible care while working in a fast-paced environment.
To succeed you will need:
- Relevant Dental Assistant qualification
- Proven understanding of Infection Control Standards for Dental service.
- Current Working with Children Check
- Experience working within the Victorian public dental service is preferrable.
- Excellent communication skills
- Empathy and understanding of clients from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
- Working with Children Check
- Satisfactory National Police Check
