Within this role, you will be providing care and treatment including identification and management of acute illness and referrals or transport for tertiary care. In addition, you will support families and significant others to remain safe and adhere to isolation requirements as appropriate.Working closely with Nursing Assistants and other team members on the testing sites, you will provide supervision to such team members to ensue correct use of PPE and adherence to infection control measure, clinical workflows and OHS site requirements.Multiple positions are available for this role and there is flexibility to commit to either a Part Time or Full Time Fixed Term opportunity (Special Projects). This position is classified under the Nurses And Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2016-2020.This position will be based at various testing sites and will require you to be available on some weekends.About youYou will be a Registered Nurse with demonstrated clinical experience within a GP or hospital environment. In addition, your working experience enables your capacity to work collaboratively with diverse communities providing social and mental health support. You will be possess a strong understanding in best practice infection prevention and control measure. You are a highly adaptive team player with the ability to work within fast paced environments.
