Commissioned by the Victorian Department of Health, the consortium provides range of COVID-19 response activities in testing, vaccination and community engagement.As Lead Agency, IPC Health is central to the success of the COVID-19 Collaborative.3x Full Time Fixed Term (special project) roles until 31st December 2021Classified as CN5 (generous above award rates on offer) under the Nurses And Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2016-2020. You will make a difference byProviding clinical supervision and daily running of fixed and outreach vaccination clinics, including administrative staff and other nursing staff, such as Nurse Immunisers or Nurses who are authorised to immunise under Emergency Public Health Orders.Perform and support vaccinations for Covid-19, providing high quality client care, whilst maintaining Infection and Prevention Control and client safetyOversee daily clinical operations of the vaccination clinic including assignment of staff duties, efficiency in clinical operations, daily data reporting, vaccine stock managementEnsure operations of the clinic is under current ATAGI, State and Federal vaccination guidelines and C-19 vaccine network operational guidelinesProvide care and treatment as required especially in an adverse event following immunisationAdequate knowledge of Strive for 5 - National Vaccine Storage Guidelines and cold chain management To succeed you will needCurrent AHPRA Registration Nurse Division 1Recent clinical experience within a GP or hospital environmentCurrent CPR and Management of Anaphylaxis/AEFI TrainingQualification as a Nurse Immuniser with a minimum of 6 months of experienceWhat next?If you are passionate, creative and want to make a difference, we want to hear from you.
