By year 2035, we anticipate that the total population served will be approximately 1.2 million.The OpportunityBecome an integral part of IPC Health’s Allied Health team as an Exercise Physiologist, supporting community wellbeing and providing care and intervention strategies to the target population. You will work within the social model of health, collaborating with a broad team to assess and provide intervention for clients including those presenting with chronic illnesses, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. In this Grade 1 role, you will have the opportunity to work in and lead onsite groups such as diabetes and falls programs. Collaborating closely with the Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy teams, you will grow your clinical skills and knowledge as you embed best practice in delivering quality exercise physiology care that incorporates aspects of health education, therapeutic management, and health promotion.Within this role, you will further build your clinical and professional capacity through -access to regular individual supervision, onsite mentoring, group supervision and case discussions.Regular internal professional development activities Based at Deer Park campus, this is a 0.4FTE Part Time Fixed Term until 31 December 2022 (Funding based activity - Project) position at a Grade 1 Allied Health Professional classification, under the Victorian Stand Alone Community Health Centres Allied Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement 2017 – 2021.
