You will be supported by a committed and expert team and have the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary environment as the role is part of the larger Allied Health Services team. This role entails assessment, treatment and ongoing management of musculoskeletal and chronic conditions through fitness measures. The service involves working closely with clients, measuring cardiovascular function, metabolism and other physiological stress indicators. Supported by a Grade 2 clinician your responsibilities will include:Providing direct exercise physiology service to clients, including health education, therapeutic management and health promotionProviding rehabilitation program to clients including individual assessment and group based education and management to support people to maintain and achieve optimal functioning in their community settingDeveloping, implementing and evaluating rehabilitation programs in accordance with organisational priorities and expectationsPrepare and maintain appropriate statistical data, reports and analyses for activities and services for which responsible and make recommendations as appropriateImplementing effective interpersonal skills to enhance collaboration both internally and externallyWorking within the Physiotherapy team and alongside your Exercise physiology colleagues to develop and implement new and exciting service offerings.Seeking a mid to late February commencement, this role is a Full Time Fixed Term (Parental Leave Cover) position until March 2022.
